How Many Nicotine Pouches A Day Should I Use?
Table of Contents
This seems to be a question that is cropping up a lot on forums and other social media outlets I use questioning how many nicotine pouches per day is the “right” amount to use, or even if there is any! And to be honest, I feel like this is a bit of an open ended question that doesn’t have a definitive answer as each person is different and one person may use more whilst the other person would use less.
In this blog, I’m going to aim to give more of an insight to knowing how many you should be using in a day, and how using too many in a day could have negative side effects that you’ll want to be avoiding if you want to have a pleasurable nicotine pouch experience!
How Many Nicotine Pouches A Day Should I Use?
The average life span of a single nicotine pouch is roughly 45-60 minutes for the full absorption time and for you to fully get the effects of the Nicotine being absorbed into your body.
It’s not recommended to use Nicotine Pouches one after the other, in a kind of chain fashion, where you’d finish with one and then immediately replace it with another one as it’s always good to give yourself a little break and only use them when you’ve got that craving for nicotine starting to creep in.
So the average person’s day in hours is roughly 15 hours. Waking up at 7am, and going to sleep at 10pm, this is only an example of course, but we’re using it for the basis of this equation that’s now going to follow.
15 Hours Awake = 900 Minutes – 1 Nicotine Pouch every 90 Minutes = 10 Nicotine Pouches used in one day.
This is done by having a Nicotine Pouch in place for the full 60 minutes, and then leaving yourself a 30 minute window before using another one. You might even leave yourself longer, but I would say using 10 Nicotine Pouches in a day is the right number to aim for.
What Nicotine Pouches Are Used For
I’ll cover this quickly first to start off this blog! Nicotine Pouches is the new way to enjoy nicotine and have been specifically designed to help deliver nicotine to a person in an alternative form from smoking as well as using E-Cigarettes. It can help curb nicotine cravings as well as helping reduce a person’s addiction to Nicotine as well, and it’s done in a much safer and healthier way than what smoking cigarettes is.
Nicotine Pouches are only recommended to be used by someone who is either giving up smoking or looking for an alternative form of Nicotine as they will have previously been used to taking Nicotine on board, and they’re not designed to be used by someone who has previously not smoked or used an E-Cigarette. Nicotine is a highly addictive chemical and using Nicotine Pouches when previously not having nicotine can likely lead to an addiction forming very quickly and very easily as well.
When Should I Use Nicotine Pouches?
As I mentioned at the top of this article, you’ll ideally want to be using Nicotine Pouches when you feel those cravings for Nicotine start creeping back in, as using Nicotine Pouches will give a near instant hit of Nicotine once one is placed in your mouth, and then a gradual release of Nicotine will happen over the 45-60 minute time frame I spoke about.
Due to the fact that they are subtle and discreet, and do not emit any form of smoke or vapour, you can use them anywhere and everywhere you like which is super convenient! If you’ve got a busy day in the office sat at your desk, simply pop one in your mouth and nobody will probably even notice it!
They can also be taken with you when you travel as well, so if you’re commuting for work, or have a long haul flight ahead of you, make sure you’re stocked up so you can get your nicotine fix even if you’re 32,000 feet in the air!
When shouldn’t i use nicotine pouches?
This is another common question and there’s actually some points I want to make around it as there is certain times you may want to avoid using Nicotine Pouches.
Try and avoid using them before you go to sleep. This is because Nicotine can act as a stimulant when it’s absorbed, so the last thing you want to be doing is using one of these before you want to go to sleep!
The same applies to if you want to unwind and relax, as it can be counter productive with the stimulative effects from Nicotine, but it can also help relax a person should they be feeling stressed, so this isn’t a definitive don’t do it, but maybe just look at the situation and circumstances you’re experiencing at the time.
Why you shouldn’t use too many nicotine pouches in a day
As with anything Nicotine based, you must always take care and not go over the top with it as if you do ingest a bit too much Nicotine, you might leave yourself prone to suffering from some side effects, commonly known as making yourself “nic sick”
Due to Nicotine being a chemical, and it affecting the body in different ways, if you have too much, it might lead to you feeling a bit nauseous, you might get a bit dizzy and maybe even get a headache from it too. These are all very short lasting side effects, and you can soon reverse it simply by giving yourself a much longer break from taking Nicotine on board.
This is why I advised you leave a long enough gap between using pouches, and you definitely do not want to be using a nicotine strength that’s too high for you either as it will be too much being ingested at once and you’ll likely feel rubbish from it and not have a positive experience of using Nicotine Pouches, which you don’t want to happen!
